St. Paul, MN - State Auditor Julie Blaha will be meeting with local officials from three counties in Northeast Minnesota on Wednesday, Oct. 16th. They include Pine, Carlton and St. Louis Counties. Auditor Blaha will also be visiting with Duluth Mayor Emily Larson during her trip.

Prior to these meetings, Auditor Blaha said, "I always look forward to hearing what local officials have to say. Our satellite office in Duluth serves the North and Northeast region of the state, so these conversations are critical."

"County commissioners, mayors, treasurers, auditors and chief financial officers are the lifeblood of our local communities and I look forward to spending time with them this week," Blaha added. "I believe that by building stronger connections, we can build stronger communities."

In the evening, Auditor Blaha will be attending the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association convention.
