Fire Relief Association Financial Dashboard
Fire relief associations that operate as local public pension plans are annually required to submit reporting information to the Office of the State Auditor (OSA). The reports are completed for the prior calendar year and are needed for a relief association to meet its requirements with the OSA to be eligible for receipt of current-year fire state aid. Fire state aid is an important funding source for relief association pension plans. Our office publishes an annual Financial and Investment Report of Fire Relief Associations summarizing the finances, basic benefit structures, and investment performances of Minnesota's fire relief associations.
Search on both the Map and Details tabs below to view the collected data organized by relief association. The data displayed in the dashboard is current as of the last updated date displayed. Any changes resulting from the OSA’s review of the reports or other developments may be subject to amendment.
The Details tab includes plan information, membership information, a financial overview and investment asset allocations for the calendar year selected. Select a year and a relief association to view the data collected.
The Map tab displays four sets of data, organized by relief association. Select a year to display each data set for the relief association selected. The map and pie chart will change by selecting different data for the map tab.
